How to save money using Workspaces
Petrocubic offers a very flexible pay-per-use service. There are a few things to remember if you want to save money:
If you do not use subscribed software product(s), it’s prudent to close the application even if you keep working with the files or other applications on your remote workstation. If the time between closing the app and opening it again is less than 15 minutes, it will count as continued use.
Remember to shut down (or stop) your remote workstation when not in use; disconnecting or login off does not shut down the computer. You will incur charges for this idle time for the hardware. If the software were not closed, it would be counted as well. Shutting down the remote workstation will stop both hardware and software metering.
Keep in mind that the hardware used is rounded up to the nearest hour (metered by one-hour increments).
